I missed the lip on the front and wanted to refit one. There hasnt been any of recent at a good price on IM and I was contemplating an Ultrex one but not too keen on the longevity with the missus driving the car now.

Found this one on Ebay from the States. Its polyeurathane, same as what the bumpers are made out off so has oodles of flex.

I bit the bullet as at $210 landed (in 8 days) it was a cheap risk. My bar was from an STi so has all the original lip holes underneath.

Fitted the lip today, lined up perfectly with all mounting holes (fitting parts included). Its an absolutely perfect fit.

would it be in between the quality of ultrex and genuine... as at that price i dont think i could say no.

Its a better replica than the Ultrex, pretty much a bang on copy of the real one.

Its a lot more flexy than the Ultrex or STi lip. I think this is perfect as you would be hard pressed to break it if at all its that flexible.

Most people here know how fussy I am and Im 100% happy with it.

I wonder if they have it for the 07 model. Noticed my lip is split, can't remember hitting anything... on closer inspection, found that it has been "fixed" previously. Weighing up between sending it to be fixed properly or getting the replica.

Would one of these fit a MY09 2.5i? The ad specifies JDM bumpers only.

Got carried away and just bought one anyway. If it doesn't fit, you'll see it on the 'For Sale' section in a few weeks.

Very interesting, I have been happy with my ultrex one but the finish is pretty rough on it, is it a nice finish and smooth Mark?

very strange, I actually emailed the same ebay seller a while ago before I purchased my Ultrex lip told him specifically what my model was etc, said it wouldn't fit my car :S

might just have to get one of these
