 Cheers Zach! Plastidipped my stock 18s the other night, mainly to cover up a lot of gutter rash and it turned out looking mean as. I'd upload a higher res pic of my avatar but it was a crap blurry one from my phone.

Was going to say I bought from xcess before and they sent me the wrong one.

Bought from 4caroption after having to sell that wrong one locally and they got it right.

Hope you don't have to go through this! Both seemed simlilar quality and good replicas.

Received it this afternoon. and from a quick mock up it seems to fit pretty damn good... just need to get some extra screws in there and it should be all sweet.

Mine fits well, but the finish isn't great on them. I can't really complain though, I could buy 4 of them for the price of genuine.

I took the plunge and poped into SPD Automotive (aka bhp factory and buddy club) who are selling the lip spoiler advertised on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230946306213

Wasn't entirely sure if it would fit and it was a little 'warped' which I assumed would come out with a bit of heat form a hairdrier... It did :D

Image

It fits mostly to the bumper securing plastic clips, this does leave it loose around the corners...
Please note STi badge does NOT come with the spoiler
Image

This tightens up the corner area nicely, then I used a hairdryer to get he corners to soften and take shape better...
Image

There are 4 self tappers included, I used 2 in each corner, there are holes pre cut in the lip spoiler...

Pleased with the final result - Thanks to Symon at SPD Automotive for his patience and advice - good to meet you mate 8)

Thanks for the write-up Mick. Looks good!
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

I bought the same one off ebay from the states. Other than being out of shape from being shipped from the US it looks pretty sweet IMO, plus I like the finish. Ended up getting some self tappers for a cleaner fit.

Mate I'd chuck as many extra screws/bolt you can on it, scrape it a few times and it'll start to sag. I've literally put a self tapping hex head into it every 50mm or so
