sorry I was just kidding around. Just the 'very powerful engine' part made me laugh, reminded me of VTEC powar.

(I actually can't see your spoiler anyway so I have no idea what you're referring to... photobucket etc. is blocked from work :( )

Just a question....do u do an average speed of about 200+km/h or something?!?! because if your "tyres wear out very quickly" due to your rear wing then ur car must be an animal!!!

No need to apologize mate, it's all good. I was more refering to others that were suggesting that my car is a shopping troley

And for your information my car has VTEC same as yours.

My car will do well in excess of the numbers you quoted my friend and I guess you can call it an animal coz it goes real hard 8) and tyres are a very soft compound for improved traction - this machine is putting a lot powah to the ground and it needs all the help it can get.

mate i don't doubt it. My car and many of the other cars here can do well over the excess of 200 clicks.....just how much power is ur car pulling that requires that huge spoiler to give u more traction??

if anything its maybe the weight of that thing thats giving you more traction.

IMHO, the Burn Up rear wing looks way better....that cyborg rear wing looks way out of place on a liberty

My last car had a shopping trolley spoiler from the factory.
But it actually served a purpose.

Ok, some of you boys need to get over yourselves!

Claiming that monstrous spoilers are a necessity! I'm laughing here.

Claiming that a ridiculous spoiler gives your AWD car the traction it needs at the drags! It would give you extra (aerodynamic) drag, definately. Do you suffer wheel spin from all 4 wheels at over 140kph? Must be making HUGE numbers with that VTEC! Remembering that at launch (when most wheelspin happens), your 747 wing will be doing nothing.. and in my experience, it's usually the fronts that get the most spin.. any downforce at the rear will be making the front even lighter!!

I've found my car to sit pretty well at 200kph, but then again, I don't spend a lot of time or do a lot of hard cornering at that speed.. Maybe you do? I prefer to stay ALIVE.

And Tanglca, when did your big spoiler serve it's purpose? Toyota put it on that car for a purpose, so it would sell more cars, by LOOKING like the rally car. And if it did indeed serve an aerodynamic purpose, why did you disturb the airflow over it, with that rear sun visor? Sorry mate - you were doing ok until you opened yourself up with that last post!!

Is anyone else reading this thread and feeling like their intelligence is being insulted? To be honest, I think the homer mobile is just as functional as those examples.
