Hey guys,

I'm sure some of you have seen these, just wondering where I could buy a set from (the plastic bracket) the only place I have found them is JCS pods on the Internet and it seems they only ship to US. Anyone in Perth know where I could get it made up?

Thanks in advance!

Any guess at how much it would cost to get it made up?

NFI
depends what you want it made of?
Carbon fibre would be exxy and doug and the guys probably don;t do that
ally/ steel then painted/ power-coated
or you could probably buy a sheet of plastic, heat and fold some tabs and cut it yourself

Check my thread for the video of mine, phat installed two 50mm defi gauges there without something like that and it looks great!

That could be the go, maybe just to mock something up with the plastics.

Will have to check when I can get off this phone and onto a computer! Sounds good though! How and where did you run the wiring for the gauges through just out of curiosity?

Hahaha, I was just reading this thread and thought "shit that'd be easy to make out of aluminum." :D

I can whip some up for bugger all, about $20 posted in plain ally and you can finish it how you want. If someone has dimensions it'd be quicker, otherwise I'll make one as a test on my car but it may take a while as Im flat out currently.

I had the intention of making a moulded panel with a single boost gauge angled at the driver when you flip the lid. Easy enough to do, just not high on the list at the moment.

Sounds perfect mate, I'll measure everything up and I'll send you a pm with all the dimensions! Thanks for your help!

Here is me putting pen to paper! Dimensions could be slightly out and it really hard to get a ruler to measure it accurately in a tiny little space, Can you do it out of plastic? Could work better since I could sand it down a bit should the dimensions I have given you be slightly out. Also how much do I owe you and how would you like me to pay?

Thanks again mate!

I have some alloy sheet on hand to make the initial one. If the specs are slightly out I can adjust them on my car as its the same. ;)

Once Its done I'll post a pic and see what you think. Probably toward the end of next week or so.

I have a fair bit of spare carbon fibre wrap so will wrap it to see what its like. :D
