Kings are at the bottom end of the scale.

I sold my STi springs out of my wagon for $350 just recently. Thats no much more than those Kings.

Funny how people have the perception on Kings being a crap spring becuase they are Aussie made and cheaper than the name brands.

They are also are oem suppliers to DMS and MCA and Monster er just won Pikes Peak using them as well.

Theyre not crap perse, just a budget option.

Do you think the Monster car had the same springs @ $250 a set that are fitted into most commonwhores to get that fully sick height???

I think the biggest difference is that Kings don't give you a cool sticker to put on the side of your car.

There is also the stigma attached to them as they are very common in the Falcadore and WRX crowd. Hektik Super Low!!! LOL.

I've heard they come out of the same factory as Pedders springs. I have had Pedders Sports Ryder springs in a few of my cars, they were very comfortable for what they were.

Personally I wouldn't buy them just for the stigma attached to them. We drive Liberty's, I like to think we are above Commonwhore and WRX drivers

I had Kings in my Gen2 with Bilsteins for a little while. I then fitted some STi pinks to them and the difference was night and day.

What was the difference in ride height cruisn?

I'm looking at springs for my new GT and have been told the STi springs drop it about 15 to 20mm and most of the other ones, Kings, Eibach, H & R's, etc. drop it about 25 to 30mm. Where the STi springs more comfortable?

Your ride height drops are correct for both springs. (lows in the King range).

The car handled better with the STi springs hands down and were a little more comfortable.

They're a little bit dearer, but quality of ride, I might be leaning towards them. Is yours a sedan or wagon? I don't know if it makes a difference or not?

IMO the sti springs do not lower the car enough, but that is one of the reasons they are more comfortable
