Would it be possible to mod this body kit to fit my MY10GT

Postby garbo41610 » Tue Feb 15, 2011 12:26 pm

Hi all,

Just wondering what you all reckon this would look like on my car if I manage to mod it to fit the wagon. Let me know :-)

Car(s): Steel Silver MY10 GT Wagon + 1985 Subaru Sherpa

Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.

Aren't the wheel arches on the Gen V humongous enough? :D What's with those vents at the back?

I think it would look sh*t. But in the end it's your car to do with as you please. :)

There's a reason it's ONLY $400. It looks like someone chopped up some Bunnings Tote Boxes and riveted them to a car. One question from looking at those pics is how do you open the fuel filler flap. I'd save your coin and get some nice wheels instead then track down the clown who did that to a WRX and run him over.

Already on it....

Have contacted the seller for a mass shipment of these babies to Australia. Should I put you down for 2 or 3? You can stack these things on top of one another for extra wideness.

Damn! Does that mean I would need to install a roll cage too???? I never thought a body kit would become so integral to chassis rigidity! Maybe I should pass...
