yeah tapped into the drivers side brake light. but if i could ever be bothered to do it again id tap into the number plate lights. much neater. i think it does both illumination signals. id have to test it to be sure.

I tapped in to the number plate, but parkers only it seemed. That or it's too bright still to notice the breaks.

A couple of guys on Subyclub said number plates worked for them... so I dunno!

Yeah, did you change your back faceplate to the legacy one? Or did you modify your current liberty plate? How did you go?

Yes, got a Legacy one! Haha.

I can't seem to get both brakes and parkers. I get one or the other...

What light sockets do you have installed?

I have. Did you have to wire in to two wires? Because I'm only tapped in to one, which is the brake lights only.

Does your socket which came with the Legacy plate come with the same light socket as attached? If so , it should come with 3 cables, one is black and white, which are your brake lights, which you can hook up to your spoiler, left and right side brake lights. The red wire are your taillights, which can hook up to your current side brake lights with the same colour wire. I cannot see why you couldnt hook the tail lights up to your number plate lights, it should be the same wattage as the rest of.the brake lights. Obviously the black wire goes to ground so connect it to another black wire or something metal. With this setup, you will most likely have lots of cutting and wiring, but it should work for both tail lights and as brake lights, im sure Jack has more info, but I thought Id give it a shot :), hope this helps mate.

well i have no idea how i had the intelligence to accomplish this task.
so looks like i ran 2 wires from the brake lights.
so one must be parkers and the other brake.
the 2 blue wires are the ones i put in.

Jack, can you tell me how your wiring works?

I get brake lights fine, but if I connect it to the parkers, the brake lights don't turn off.

So from what I remember (it helps if you have a wire tester thingy) ;
I spliced all the wires except the ground wire. Attatch the wires to the new globes and then turn on the parkers, then just touch the wire to each of the other wires until you get the one you want.
Then repeat for the brake light. I'll see if I can make a quick diagram on Photoshop or something.
