Got a quote from Ross @ AVO, from their avojdm site.

Shipping 6200 Yen for EMS 4 -5 days to Perth - that's about AUD$75. I'm after the flat bottomed one with red stitching and leather top (no carbon steering wheel for me, thanks), which is about $685 - so I'm looking at $760 delivered.

Tempting..... :?

yeah, well the $75 ex Japan isn't too much of a hassle really, I don't think it's too expensive. It's just I reckon the wheel isn't worth quite that much.

Bah who am I kidding, it's not too harsh. Anyone else interested in them and I'll see if we can get some GB discount lovin' ?

nice wheel but as mentioned there are likely to better things for me to spend my mod money on.
My next mods are a TD05-20G, Upgraded Fuel Pump, and Tein Flex Coilovers. No room in the budget for a new steering wheel I am afraid.

No I've held off at the moment, would rather put it toward some other mods, but it's still quite high on the wishlist.

Will try for GB when I do buy one, so will let everyone know...

Cheers

FYI, i bought this wheel, D shape in leather.

It has a nice grip, D shape gives me quite a bit more leg room and was an easy fit .

Only downside is that the wheel is a fraction too small for my liking (blocks a bit of of the instrument cluster) but with telescopic & height adjustment i've found a pretty good compromise for the wheel postion.

:)
