After weeks of fumbling with that light socket, I finally got it out and found a perfectly good light bulb attached. Bummed out that the cables are not connected, did you guys connect it to the current brake lights in parallel or is there an easier spot to hook it up to? What did you guys do? Thanks forum :)
Regards,
Andrew

Not too bad.
The Legacy one spreads more evenly though.

Yeah true, but not bad for a 15 dollar project 8)

How did you wire it in? I'd be interested in trying it.

Sorted it out.

Splice in to blue/black power wire for number plates. Connect wire to white/black wire for the fogs. :)

Haha, which way did you do?

I was gonna splice into my unused spoiler wire, but I released that would only give me brakes! Then a mate suggested the number plate power..

After drilling the hole and putting in the light socket, I just hooked it up to the free hanging spoiler light cables. But I would get into the current tail/brake lights and hook on a longer cable to give yourself some slack , then hook the new lights you want in to each other which is already connected to the lights

Thanks. I've got it hooked up to number plates at the moment. Need to get some more wire and go in to the spoiler wire.

The way I did it was, I just hooked into the outside brake lights. Just means a lot of wiring.

Sounds like a better idea. How do you get the clips off the the wires run along on the boot hinge? I thought I was gonna break them.

And did you just run it to the one light, or both? (i.e left to left and right to right.
