Tail Light Suggestions for a Pre-Facelift Wagon

Haha not yet.
I'm tossed up between gialla's and the facelift tails.
I guess it depends on what I can get my hands on easier

Yeah I would just go the face lifts with chrome globes
there are even some on the forum

I'm picking up Gambits post-tail lights on Thursday! will let you know how it goes

Just swapped my tail lights over, the post-facelift ones look sooooooooo much better.
I actually like the back of the car now. (still wish i had a facelift spec b)

The fit is close to perfect. Compared to the original tails, the new ones show a minuscule difference and the tail gate panel sits out a bit past the lights.
Hardly anything to worry about though. And its a bit unlucky that the reverse lights don't line up with the white of the tail lights.

For those of you who have done this mod.
how did you overcome the indicator globe holder not fitting directly into the newer light housing?

the smaller two locating tabs are in slightly different positions.

i got a dremal and kinda deshaped the lights inside if that makes sense

Yeah, I just removed about 3-4mm of material from the housing to make it clip in.
then discovered the factory looms in the bottom of the box from the seller...
