Gen 3 rear spoiler falling off

Hey all.
A 'special' friend was smart enough to try and lift the boot up and shut it using just the spoiler - after it had already been loosened a fair amount. Now its barely held on.

Would just normal super glue work in holding down the spoiler? Or is there another type of glue that would work better? Any other suggestions to get it down tighter?

Sikaflex or Windscreen Urethane.

Masking tape it down while its curing and don't drive it for a night or over a weekend.

Clarence taking the spoiler off a Gen 3 is like cutting spokes out of the STI rims, it aint gonna happen

Sikaflex can be gotten from most decent hardware stores. Don't get it on your clothes

It didn't work... Left it over night duct taped dwon with the sikaflex underneatht eh spoiler. took it off in the morning and then lightly lifted the spoiler and the sikaflex just looked like chewing gum and just peeled straight off into long strands... :s

thats strange it didnt stick with sikaflex...why dont you remove it and get the hole filled and re-paint the boot lid

I would actually like to go spoiler-less however it would be quite expensive to get the holes welded and sealed right? Know anyone who could do it it?

Nevermind just went round to a local smash repairer and they remoulded the spoiler to the boot. Cost $70 and its like new.
