couple of quick questions: Bonnet, Front Lip, Warranty

Body kits, seat covers, fluffy dice, and other non-performance mods.

Just ask Noozal! He's still on his P's, and the only thing he's added to his 2.5i is the STi badge and he gets pulled over all the time because the authorities thinks he's driving a turbo.

RAN94A, I know Liberty owners aren't as malicious as Skyline or EVO owners, but I've heard of a few Skyline owners who put GTR badges on their non-GTR cars, and have gotten their cars thrashed by people who hate posers. Plus if you were to ever race and gotten badly beaten, you'd be giving the GT a bad rep because people will think you're driving one.

Anyway, at the end of the day it's your car and you can do what you want. Just consider the possible consequences that come with such a mod.

+1

You don't need a GT bonnet to turn heads.

I have expressed my distaste for this sort of thing on more than one thread so I don't want to sound like a broken record.. True, it is each to their own but you've come here for an opinion and thats what we are giving you. Up to you if you take it on board or not.. but I personally think this is a tosser thing to do..

RAN94A, I think from a fellow N/A driver's perspective, I do agree with these guys here! And I know the frustration that you have with not being able to drive a turbo, etc. But, I do think that to spend the money on a bonnet (and maybe re-spraying it), that money can be spent on other mods...rims, exhaust, audio....things that will make the car look nicer.

I mean if you want to turbo your car, how awesome will it look with a front mount and no bonnet scoop (that's gangsta right there hahahaah)

But, in all seriousness, I think its probably best spent on other mods but again it is your decision and you can do whatever you like with your money!! But if it was me, I would choose on other mods....good luck, mate! Either way, tell us how it goes!

well i got a quote back from the paint/smash shop and the cost to get it resprayed properly makes it not worthwhile. :?

mind you if the opportunity comes up for the right coloured bonnet at the right price ill definitely jump at it but till then moneys going to be going into other things that are more bang for buck.

so in regards to phatgt.. is he still trading?
