Hi All,
The engine splash shield (I think thats what it's called?..it's the black plastic bit over the wheel arch and protects the engine and cooling system from rocks etc flying up) on drivers side fell off recently whilst I was driving on the highway.
I'm not the most mechanically minded person but I suspect that driving around for too long without this shield could result in something (namely a large rock) flying up into my cooling system (which I can now see in front of the drivers side wheel) and causing me more grief, so I'm looking to get it replaced asap but not getting far with any of the wreckers in my hood.
I'm hesitant to rock up to a body shop to get it replaced as I'm worried they'll charge me some ridiculous amount.
Anyone had a similar prob and know of where I can lay my hands on this part without too much fuss?
CHeers
