Headlight Assembly

Postby xvxxv » Tue Sep 10, 2013 7:14 pm

Okay, Im in a serious need of new headlights, I noticed that the lenses were fogged when I bought the car and now know that it has fogged to the inside of the headlight. I've taken apart the headlight by baking it and then noticed that the part that hold the H7 bulb has literally melted away. I am deciding to just 2 new headlights. I need thoughts on if this is a good choice. I also have a 2005 liberty 3.0L sedan

The exact same thing happened to me. The bulb holder broke and melted away. The fogginess inside my headlight was actually caused by ash :/ I got a new bulb holder and lens from a wrecker and glued my lights back together with angel eyes installed :)

Think HID's could be an option and an upgrade, but you should talk to Leo see if its possible...

They would probably fit, but they are designed for LHD. The beam pattern will be backwards....

I forgot to mention that. Despite my initial thoughts, RHD projectors definitely have a special "drop down on the right" pattern that can not be aligned out. This means you would be blinding people or have shit lighting distance with LHD lights.
