Replica STi lip - sagging in the middle. Ideas?

Hey dudes, as the title says, my STi replica lip (Pre-fl GT) is sagging bad in the middle.

I guess the only way to fix this is to make up some sort of support bracket, has anyone experienced this, or got any good ideas for a fix?

I had made up some clips that were based on the following design, obviously abit longer and bent differently to support the lip. Although they were Stainless Steel so I didn't bother to drill a hole and secure them properly.... And they have dissapeared (all 3!)

The problem there is they left noticable indents on the lip where they sat......

cable-tie the fuck out of that lip have one like every 5cm

but yeah some sort of bracket could be a good idea, can't remember anyone doing it yet though.

or go full racecar spec?

Speed nuts......... simple...

If only. I have followed your install guide with said speed nuts, then added more, then added more screws up front, and it still sags like sh!t.

Maybe all you need to do is hit it with a heat gun if it's sagging

Done that twice already, it ends up back in the same spot pretty quickly (around a week or 2).

Nah.. I've already ruined this one scraping it on shit.. I'll just dodgy up some brackets eventually. She'll be right.

Well since I am stuck in Cloncurry, Central QLD for a few days waiting for my parents car to be repaired.... I went up to Bunnings in Mount Isa to get some metal strapping and had did the following.. Self explanatory.

Please ignore the fact that my lip is quite f@#cked with scratches all over the top of the edge, due to the sagging and it folding over on driveways!!!
