MY04 seats

Hey guys have been searching, did't seem this is covered or im using the wrong words lol..
One of my friends is selling his MY04 GT and he said would give it to me mates rates only thing i doubt is the drivers seat its worn very badly crack showing white etc,
so question is can i swap the seats out with say the MY06+ seats or would it be to difficult? or any newer seats?

I remember reading someone's Build thread where they put leather seats on a 2.5i (they had Brembo's too if I remember correctly).
I think the only problem he encountered was PostFL seats have a four pin plug for the electric seats, whereas PreFL have a 2 pin.
However, I could be wrong. I'll see if I can find the link.
