STi lip emblem

Postby Tonez » Sat Jul 16, 2011 1:49 pm

Was just browsing eBay and came across a STi emblem (one of many) and thought it might interest anyone with an ultrex front lip who wants to make it look (more) like the sti front lip (from far)...

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SUBARU-STI-6-SPEED-SHIFT-BADGE-GEAR-KNOB-WRX-LIBERTY-/320723640655?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aac9e614f#ht_4504wt_954

It's not exactly the same but close enough... Probably not everyone's cup of tea but thought I would share

Thats virtually the exact dimensions of a genuine lip badge (just measured mine). Only its a little more red than STi pink. If I had an Ultrex lip, I would definitely get one of these for that price.

Wow. Good find. And a great price for what it is!

I think Hamish must have bought one of these (or found another similar), because he managed to have us all fooled at the SA Meet! Looks can be deceiving, and these things do their jobs well!

Hey guys, is the badge in the attached link the same dimensions as the OEM for the front lip? (8cm long x 3cm wide)

Cheers
