Hi,
I have recently got a 3.0R Spec B Auto Sedan and I have noticed some strange behaviour with it when the auto box is in reverse it seems to jerk at low speeds I am not sure if this a fly by wire flaw with the car but the serivce dept. could not fault the gearbox and said there was no flagged problems with the gearbox.

I have also been checking the oil consumption on the engine at all my fill up's and it has not used a drop of oil.

Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

The strange thing it does not do it every single time.

Thanks

Hi,
Yes my car is rather new it is a March 07 build and I have only got just over 2,000kms on it. It seems to happen when I am doing really slow turns and I did just recently notice it when I was in "D"rive in a up hill slow move it is really strange. My worry is that it will come to bite me in a really $$$ way down the track.

Next time you get a service mention it to them and make them put in on the service record so there is a record of it if it does bite you later.

i have found if you are on full lock reversing it will not want to move just on idle revs, if you come back off full lock it will start to move again, maybe this is what you are experiencing.
