Limited Ed & mods ???
Posted: Tue May 22, 2007 10:40 pmI would ask how long do you plan to keep the car or more importantly when will you be likely to sell the car; hence what will the impact be on the resale of this limited edition model?
How long to keep it? depends how much you love it and what is worthwhile for a upgrade..... imo there's not much out there thats equivalent at present unless u spend big bucks.
There haven't been many 06 tb sti for sale and those have held pretty good prices from what I have seen. high 50 & 60's
Not like the shocking aus spec Blitzen which have already seen prices down to the low 40's (even black ones)
Both the 06 and 07 tb STI are in pretty high demand, black 06 sold out at the motor show, UG went fast soon afterwards, think only the silver auto was held out a bit. Currently beleive most of the 07's have gone...
How much they hold price depends how many people are willing to part with them. Most people also think they are just bolt on bits but they do have some unique parts which really do make them a Limited ed.
In the end, the price is all about demand and supply.
Re mods: The good thing about most is that can return to stock unless u hacked something. There's always a market for offloading parts.
