I am not sure if I posted in the right forum but in the 2.5power forum there havent been posts made for weeks so I came to what seemed to be the most active category that fit.

I am interested in putting this exhaust on my liberty. It is a US legacy Spec B...Any info on this exhaust you guys can provide me with would be much appreciated.

1. I want to know if it is straight through design(blow thorugh)?
2. The piping diameters?
3. Opinion on the sound level?
4. Where to buy one new or used?

Thanks in advance guys I appreciate and advise and or experiences you guys will take the time to give me.

Thanks,
Anthony

My new GT STI Wagon has that exhaust. It produces a very refined subtle burble that tells everyone that you have plenty of grunt under the bonnet. I wouldnt call it droney at all. I love it.

Heya,

Thanks EJ25D 8)

Yeah they are quiet. Mine are on the 06 STi 2.0

Too lazy to go and measure piping, but it might be different to the 2.5.

Giyabwe has a 07 sti which is based on the 2.5. might give you a better idea.

And welcome to the forum.

thanks for all the replies guys very helpful.

xrc15t I tired to swat the bug in your avatar.

If anyone can get me the piping diameters that would be great. As long as those are at least 2.5" I will buy this setup maybe even if it is 2.25" I am assuming the straight part after the y is 3"

phat gt is that AU dollars? Also does that include all piping to make it to the down pipe? The straight and y section in addition to the cans

Do you guys have a preffered cat back system in AU I dont see any vendors listed on your site.

Thanks Again,
Anthony

HI Anthony

yes thats all AU dollars

>Im a trusted vendor on this site< http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?t=762

as for the STI muffliers, no the pipe work does not come with the muffliers as the STI liberty uses the same cat back pipe work as the GT ( no the pipe after the Y is not 3")

for the sort of money STI Japan or Aus what for there muffliers you can buy a whole cat back system for eg: KAKIMOTO , FUJITSUBO , HKS , APEXI and so on for under 2K landed in sydney

Can you give me the subaru part # for the exhaust? I am trying to find out some more info about it. I really want to check the piping diameter where it connects to the y pipe so I can figure out if it will work with what I have.

Thanks,
Anthony

Anyone have the subaru part #?

Anyone know the piping diameter that runs from the can towards the motor? I am assuming the same size as the stock exhaust?
Can you guys give me a couple of websites that would sell and ship this or other Au exhausts to me?
Answers to any of these questions or any other info you guys have about this exhaust would be great.

TIA,
Anthony

Michael,

Can you give me the Subaru part # so I can hopefully look up so more info or get it from Subaru about the different piping sizes used and any other info about the system. I would like to find out as much info as possible about this exhaust before I throw $1500 on some exhaust cans.

Thanks,
Anthony

Also if anyone is interested in a US exhaust I could pick up and trade for them and then we could trade the US exhaust for the STI 4 tipped exhaust

TIA,
Anthony

Thanks for the help guy but I just cant justify that much for just the cans. I am going to go with the megan racing exhaust we have here in the states. Doesnt look as good but has better piping design underneath and is $1000 left plus give me the y section and straight pipe leading to the down pipe.

Couldnt get your guys part # to match the #'s we use here in the US. I figured at least STI part # would match or at least the parts that arent OEM which I think the exhaust was aftermarket for you guys before it came on the tuned by sti liberty right?

Well enough rambling thanks for the help guys.
Thanks,
Anthony
