Ok... so I always like to see/hear about what everyone used to drive before getting to where they are today! And I figure there may be a few other people who find it interesting to see!

Try and keep it fairly brief I guess, to keep people interested!.. Pics speak louder than words in most cases!

1984 Ford Laser S - originally twin carb 1.5 converted to EFi 1.6 DOHC Turbo. Approx 150hp @ front wheels



1994 Subaru WRX Wagon - Full C-West bodykit, 265hp & 20"s amongst other wheels! Still miss this car as it was an animal!





2001 Subaru Liberty B4 - fairly stock, in fact my Gen4 is pretty much at the same spec after 2 weeks...





2005 Subaru WRX Club Spec 8 - 299.3hp @ all 4! Awesomely fun car... and Loud!





To now... 2007 Subaru Liberty GT Spec B - Stockish... For now...

Well my days road to the current liberty wasn't as flash or exciting as some but still had a great time & my first car was defiantly my baby & still have many fond memory's of this car a 1980 TE Gemini I totally rebuilt it a number of times, I won a few trophy's at car shows with it including a small article in HOT4s had a 2L EFI Turbo with a FMIC


While I owned the Gemini, I had gemini Wagon, as a parts getter.
Sold that & brought a N14 SSS pulsar, it remained stock because all of the money went into the Gemini(waaayyy too much money), & this was purely the work/shopping trolley car


Then This car a MY01 RX Lib my first drive of this I had to buy it, It was a great car to drive compared to what i had owned prior, except for speed.


Dont flame me for the GT badge, the previous owner was resonsible for that

hmm well i don't have any pics unfortunately but here's my run down of past cars. lol ^^ my first car was a Gemini as well (funny how many people i know started out with them )

1996: Holden Gemini TE 1980 sedan- Resprayed in metallic maroon, re-trimmed interior in white leather, chopped springs (dodgy i know but it was my first car and i was young and dumb) and Simmons Gold wire style rims

1999: Honda Prelude 96 - Dark grey. apart from zorst and rims she was stock as a rock. It was my company car

2001: Audi A4 1996 sedan - Dark green. Again apart from zorst and BSA rims it was stock as they come as well. Changed to smoked out tail lights and clear indicators but nothing special

2006: Subaru Liberty Gen 2 1998 - White. This is what i have now

2008: Holden Vectra 2002 - Black. I bought this as a daily but ended up doing the exhaust and putting rims on it. Decided to sell it a couple of months ago as i needed the cash

But I started borrowing a 90 laser and 97 civic from the folks. My first car was a 96 corolla (1.6ltr manual lol)

When I was looking for my next car I wanted mid sized not front wheel drive and not much other then a lib fits the bill

not as interesting as some, but people seem to be suprised I jumped from an underpowered corolla to a GT.

16- Bought my first car- Holden Calibra 2L non turbo manual...diamond grey...heaps good, deep exhaust and a set of rims...paid $1500 for it and was/is a awesome car! Currently still getting done up lol


18- Calibra become a project car so i bought a VT S pac auto($5K), in that panther mica colour (little bit of blue through black). Put 18" monaro wheels, leather, series 2 tail lights, good sound system and exhaust...


18- VT was a POS so i sold it and bought ANOTHER calibra...prolly the best condition in australia, again non turbo 2L, but man did it fang...took down BA XR6's...it was manual aswell...had a fair few visual/interior mods..nothing major on engine..


18- Yes, 2 weeks after i bought my calibra it got written off by a dumb shit rear ending me and sending me across lanes into oncome traffic where a man and woman drove up the side of my bonnet and landed on there roof (fun? NO)
18- Bought a VZ calais..silver...auto...put 19" SSV wheels on it...thats about it...Still have it..FOR SALE!


19- Found out that libertys had a 6 cyl model (on Ps i cant drive GT's and NA 2.5 just didnt do it for me). HADTO have one...drove 5 hours to adelaide to test drive a few...then drove 6 hours to melbourne and test drove 1, which i absolutly fell in love with...perfect in everyway...so i extended my loan (smart thing to do) and bought it! HERE I AM=)

1 - first car - black BMW 318i 4 door.. its only mods where compresses suspension and two 12 inch subwoofers hehe (i was in high school)

2 - another BMW 325ci... had some 19inch chrome fully sick and lowered (not to mano standards thou) sexy looking car (only pic i have on this PC)



3 - my honda civic with a K20a type R engine conversion among a endless list of mods.. this was the best toy i ever had and was running a PB of 12.6 @ 109MPH.. and miss it

* 1982 Volvo 244GL Sedan (Was the best surfy car ever! Even had a stereo! Had been in my family since it was new)

* 2000 Mitsubishi Lancer MR Coupe (Where the mods started for me... Koni Yellow shocks, Eibach springs, 17inch chrome rims, full exhaust & extractors & an uber Alpine stereo)

* 2001 Honda VT250 Custom (First motor bike... Had Custom Stain Tune Harley Shotgun pipes)

* 2005 Mazda SP23 Hatch Back (Stock as a rock... Hated every minute of having it)

* 1994 BWM M3 (Was really my Dad's car, but he got it to teach me how to drive fast in it Had a flash tune which gave it 300hp & I can't believe we sold it)

* 2006 Honda VTR1000F (First real bike... & it's sadly up for sale at the moment)

* 2005 (MY06) Subaru Liberty GT Wagon (My WASABI ... Going to keep her for a long time )

1 - 1996 '80 626 5 speed. Only mods were a 2" sports exhaust. Enjoyed that car, did everything I wanted it to at the time. 2nd year I had it some woman decided to try overtaking me while I was turning right

2 - 1998 '80 626 4 speed. Got another one from a wreckers for very little and transferred the donk and exhaust over from the damaged car. Don't know why we didn't do the 'box at the same time though.... It really missed the overdrive top gear. Engine started playing up after a while - nothing down low so had to be running above 3k. This caught me out one day and crashed it into a bunch of trees.

Was on the pushie for a while...

3 - 1999 '81 626 3 speed manual. Not sure why we got this - think it was cheeeeep. The 3 speed was horrid. The zorst made its way across again. Not sure what happened to it in the end.

4 - 2000 '89 VL 5 speed. After 12 months on the pushie again I finally managed to save up to buy my first car. Loved the engine in this, the 'box was a good match. 2.5" sports exhaust and headers combined with a "stage 1" cam. revved past 7k rpm without any let up thanks to those bits. Had a loud boom at around 120km/h which meant that it was usually driven at 130-140 . Fuel consumption wasn't hurt to my surprise. Suspension was pretty crappy and the open diff had me facing the wrong direction in the same roundabout on two different occasions. Fell into disuse after I got the bikes and the council pinched it from the roadside.

5- 2001 '01 VTR250. This was the start of a bit over 6 years on bikes. Was a fabulous jigger, managed 2:00 around Eastern Creek one day chasing a Buell. I was notorious in the club I rode with for rounding pretty much anyone up once corner speeds dropped below about 120. Rode it like a lunatic all over the eastern half of NSW and somehow never got booked. Sold it 2 years ago. Still regret never putting a zorts on it - they sound feckin horn

6 - 2003 '03 Triumph TT600. My first and only full sized bike so far. Had it for 5 years before some dodgy council work out west caught me out last year. There aren't too many good fun riding roads between Rockhampton and Phillip Island that I haven't done on it. Never got to do the full run of the Oxley though....

7 - 2008 MY06 3RB. My current ride. Has already been down to Phillip Island and is likely to be drafted into the GP pilgrimage later this year too. Having huge fun in it. Done somewhere between 10 and 15k in it in almost 7 months. Jeez, has it been that long? Time flies.
