EZ30 tuning

I’ve recently picked up a 2006 liberty with the ez30 wondering if anyone knows of people who still do remote tuning on them or anyone who does tuning around Melbourne. I’ve done some simple mods like headers and mufflers and plan on increasing the diameter of the exhaust along with swapping out the factory resonator with an aftermarket. A lightweight crank pulley is also on the table once I know more about them and that there won’t be any negative implications.
Thanks Lachy

Hey Lachy, nice pickup! The EZ30’s a solid platform with the right mods. There are still a few tuners who’ll work with the EZ platform, but remote options are getting rarer—your best bet might be checking with places like AM Auto or even MSR to see if they’ll touch it. Around Melbourne, some old-school Subaru shops might still tune them, especially if you're running something like an EcuTek or RomRaider-compatible ECU. Just make sure you’ve got a wideband and logging setup ready if you're going remote. The lightweight crank pulley is a good mod for response, but just watch out for harmonic balance issues—some tuners recommend sticking with the OEM if you're not going all-in on performance.
