Fit power source in sedan boot area

I have a 5GEN 2012 Subaru Liberty sedan. I use the accessory socket in the dash to power a screen mounted dash cam. I want to do the same for a rear facing dash cam and wondering how I can source the necessary accessory power at the rear of the vehicle. Has anyone done this successfully?

The 2010 workshop manual only shows an accessory power connection in the rear for Outback models.

Could you run a wire from the outlet in the console box?

Thank you Ric.

That is an option I am considering. Just thought I'd check what others may have done so I don't fall into known traps or issues. For example, what is the easiest route for such a cable to run without having to dismantle the trim/carpet or remove rear seats?

Ric - do you have the wire colour for the sedan tail lights? I routinely drive with lights on and thinking that tapping into that circuit would give me the power I need, despite the obvious shortcoming.
