Another problem, (airbag warning light currently on), just pulled into my driveway and the SPORT light started to flash...does anyone know what it means? turned off the car and back on and the SPORT light went off.

I think it means a gearbox issue.

It means you need to plug in a select montior (or similar) device and find out what error code is there.

Heh-heh. Naw man, not me. I'm not into the technical details. I just hand over the money for other people to get it done.

I think it was Ric or someone.

sucks man, not sure with the sports light, i know there is a warning light for AT temp i thought that would flash if it was gearbox issue?
with your airbag light, mine does the same thing, check if there is anything under your passenger seat, the connector down there for the side airbag is dicky and after given some advise from a member on here it fixed mine

Auto Master Auto Electrics in Burwood they are good at diagnosing and might be able to work out the problem.

try your battery...
how old is it..
i know the cruise light was the first one to go when my battery was dying... car goes into "smart mode" or some shit and shuts down the non essentials systems to run the car on the important stuff
new battery, car was fine...

reset the ECU.

cold engine
full negative terminal off the battery.
leave it for say 20 mins
reconnect it.
start car.
idle for 10 mins
turn off car.
