I walked back to my car after a bit of grocery shopping and my rear left wheel is scratched!!!! It wasn't even on the edge !

It's gone past the top layer .....man....lucky they weren't STI wheels otherwise I'll probably sit on the ground like a child and bawl my eyes out

....end rant.....

I'm sorry to hear! Have you been letting the missus drive you car? LOL @ first finger pointing to the female driver.. Look on the bright side, doesn't sound like something that can't be fixed..

I can't blame the wife as she has never scratched a wheel in either my or her cars....its always been my fault  hahahaha

but this particular one I have no idea how it got there... it was there at the newcastle bbq and I've been the only one driving....

maybe she was bored and decided to take the car out in the middle of the night for a bit of spirited driving ... might have to check that she did not drive down the nasho

its either a hint for me to get new wheels or to tell me not to bother as I would stuff those up too hahaha

Danny if you need any more motivation for new wheels I'll come over tonight and scratch up the remaining 3 wheels.

There are some other options for brake options out there (Bolt on kits) but most are a great deal more expensive then the Brembo options due to the current exchange rate/s. Endless is extremely expensive (All prices listed on their website are waaay out of date), Stoptech which I was very keen on has gone up heaps, Project Mu again rather expensive, AP Racing the list goes on. At the end of the day, the Brembos are execptional value as an upgrade overall.

If you're keen to look into customised set ups, you can get bigger & better brakes for a pretty good price :)... Just a lot of mucking around involved is all.

Lots of other options.

I'll be trialling out a Sumitomo medium casting brake upgrade with 326mm rotors soon, bang-for-buck will be where it's at. Looks better than OEM Brembos and will perform better than them, too, from what my research indicates.

Will have photos up soon... stay tuned...

8 pistons! What size wheels would you need to fit over those suckers? One thing's for sure, I should never have any issues with the size of my willy once I get those on the car
