Help - Fumes in car

Nearly everything is in here to start with.
If it's about your car, or Subaru's in general, put it in "Subaru Chat".

The smell your experancing is quite normal due top the two cats in the exhause i believe (the rotten egg smell)

G'day Phat and Phil,

So it's normal? Really? I didn't experience this with my previous car. Is this something that happens with the Liberty? But it does ease my worries a bit to hear it's normal, from you guys.

Thanks! Btw, my name's Jason. :D

Nice to meet you all.

I find that the smell differs depending on what fuel I'm running, Optimax stinks the worst IMHO, BP Ultimate is better, haven't run a lot of the others to put them to the cold start stink test.

Having only had my car for a few weeks but I too have the strong smell of fumes in the car, particularly when the drivers window is open. Is it a wagon problem?

Car is going back to Docklands in a few weeks and I have already warned them of the problem!
You can lead a fool to knowledge but you cannot make him think!
