According to Wheels, in a back to back with the MY08 WRX, the MY09 is a fair bit quicker, more focussed and firmer. It has apparently returned a little to the WRX of old, which I reckon could only be a good thing for the brand

I'll admit I love the Impreza's when they are modded correctly but dont you find that Subaru has gone from a Boxy car to a more "Euro" Style shaped Impreza now?

Agree, I think the Lib steering wheel looks a lot better. With regard to the styling Euro sells and that's what the bottom line is all about. I quite like the shape of the new model.

+1. I quite like the euro styling of the Liberty and the Impreza sedan has taken a lot less time to grow on me than the hatch did.
