I read the FAQ about wheel sizes on the forum and I'm 99% sure these are compatible, but I did the eBay compatibility vehicle check and it said that they are not compatible with the liberty gt spec b my08
So Just double-checking, if anyone could let me know if these are compatible?

These specific wheels will easily fit. You will also need hub rings to fit them properly.

FYI to make sure the wheels will fit on the hub:
5x100 Lug pattern.
Bore size 56.1mm or larger.

Any wheel with these specs will fit the hub, however may not clear brakes or may poke out of the guards too much (in your case, you will be fine ).

If you're after a 235/40/18 or larger tyre size, you will very likely need coilovers/camber/guardwork done on your car to make them fit. Anything smaller, you can usually get away with.

Buy hub rings that are 72.6mm to 56.1mm:
