Where is the sub forum for gen 4 cars? I see gen 3 and earlier, then gen 5 and 6. No 4th gen forum?
Also, a parts supplier is quoting '04>'09 as being fifth gen and a few different websites support this. Can someone please clarify?

This is a Gen4 forum.
Gen2, Gen3 and Gen5 are the sub-groups that are allowed to co-exist on the Gen4 forum.

For Liberty MY2004 thru MY2009 is Gen4.
But forget that.

BL is a Gen4 Sedan and BP is a Gen4 Wagon
5 is a 2.0 Litres H4; 9 is a 2.5 litre H4 and E is a 3.0 H6

So a BPE is a 3.0 Litre H6 Wagon and BL9 is a 2.5 H4 Sedan

You Outboat is a BPE Outback

Technically the gen4 outback is a gen3 outback: just to confuse it further.
