5th Gen Liberty Lifted?

Postby Mcurry24 » Fri Oct 23, 2020 12:16 pm

Hey guys,
Just starting to get into camping with my 5th gen Liberty wagon and am interested in going to more adventurous places (not exactly 4WDing more softroading). I don't think my current stock suspension is enough to take on some soft raiding trails or even beach driving which seems like a lot of fun. Does anyone know of anyone who has lifted a 5th gen Liberty wagon, I can't seem to find anything online, regarding people lifting their 5th gen wagons?

Cheers
Max

Subieliftoz on FB is the place to ask.
They do an amazing range of complete lift kits from mild to wild, eg 4”+, the latter have caster and camber correcting, wheel centering etc.

I’d love to get one of their gen4 kits...

PS, a single post is plenty :good:

Sell and buy an outback? A forester is also an option, plus you have the option of an XT turbo.

Pretty sure the outback achieves its lift through both the struts and the sub frame, so your not going to get the full lift as easily on a Liberty.

There are plenty of off-road Subaru clubs and forums, so that will be your best bet.

Subieliftoz kits do the same thing, strut, body and subframe spacers, the kits are around $800 up and can be fitted in a day.

I did some research as I’d love to have a turbo 6mt dccd raid weapon :P

If you were running Shockworks you’d get my drift :P

Did you ever go through with this? Curious as I'd consider doing the same with my 5th gen GT
