Darn, only mid 20s? Can't believe how much they've dropped in value, I think it's better if I just hold onto the car anyway. keep it as a 'daily' for when I need it.

I've got my eye on a 1980s Porsche 911 SC... fairly cheap, under $20K... something totally different (electric nothing, everything is raw) and since I don't need to drive on a daily basis, my Lib is just a weekend car for me anyway

Maintenance won't be too bad, the engine in the 1980 model is near bulletproof from what I am told. The one I am looking at, engine and gearbox is in good condition. Body-wise, it's not the best, but it's not bad either.



... definitely think parting out the car would be best will need to have a think about this one! Or maybe I should sell off all my goodies, and sell my mum's Accord Euro instead.

The one I'm looking at, it's got a fibreglass rear bar and I've been told (the owner also owns a 930 Porsche 911 Turbo) that it helps to even the weight bias a lot.
