Perhaps the extra dynamic camber (caused by more caster) causes more inside shoulder wear if the driver isn't pushing hard enough through corners, less wear if the setup is a good match for driving style and won't save outside shoulder wear if the driver is cornering very hard?

Eg a few degrees of extra dynamic camber on a street car will reduce (but not prevent) outside edge wear from a hard track day.

Yep - inner edge tyre wear is a factor according to Flatirons Tuning.

I also neglected to rotate my tyres for a year or more and it might have prevented getting another year or so from the set.

And yet I still want to swap sides and rotate my camber plates to point inward/rearward for another 1/2’ of caster, too much is never enough when it’s in the interests of research
