NEED HELP IN ADELAIDE - RS TURBO LIBERTY
Posted: Wed Jan 22, 2020 3:14 pmHello there I'm not sure where else to post. I am located In South Australia and I own an old 1991 rs liberty turbo white with sunroof; it's running a gc8 wrx engine.
The situation is its been in storage a few years and it needs some TLC. I plan to get it back on the road at some point.
I used to know someone In Adelaide that would work from home and who was well experienced with Subarus. I'm on a limited income so I really need someone who loves working on subarus and knows the rs turbo liberty very well.
[b]I Do know I need a new clutch, I am looking at possibly upgrading the gearbox to wrx model and may need to find a diff as well to suit but my knowledge is veryyy limited but I have a few plans.
I would love to find someone to talk to and discuss everything. I know the liberty will need quite a few things to bring it up to road worthy standard.
It would help if you had access to a lift and to literally go over the liberty from front to back and give me a list of what should be fixed or upgraded; I'm willing to pay for parts I'd just prefer to not pay full labour costs at an actual dealer or mechanic.
