I have a well-maintained 1999 Subaru Liberty Heritage that requires both head gaskets repaired - obviously a big labour cost, but an affordable job for an enthusiast. $700. I'm on the Sunshine Coast in QLD and am searching for an interested buyer. Failing this, I will part it out. Any suggestions or recommendations welcomed?

Got a Facebook account? If not, maybe create one, throw the car up for sale, then de-activate once it's sold?

Hello, Sorry to hear about you LIB.. Is $700 what you would like to get for the car with a dead engine or is that what someone recons you can repair it for if you do all the labor yourself.

Swap in an EJ257 :D

Seriously though, a front cut B4 or GC8 wrx could be a good donor car for a turbo upgrade. Depends on how much of an enthusiast you are on the Gen3.
