Gen 4 turbo help!!

my turbo blew and now I’m looking at getting it rebuilt or buying a new one, I’m asking you guys for what my best solution is
Should I upgrade to a different turbo? Is there another turbo that will just bolt straight on? I have the stock VF38 and I’ve heard it was poorly designed and blows up very easily so I don’t want to rebuilt it or get a brand new VF38 for it to just blow up again, what’s my best solution?
