New member here.

My partner has a Subaru liberty 2010 BM 2.5i

I’m looking for a Subaru liberty repair manual, as Haynes and Gregory’s (owned by Haynes) don’t make the manual for liberty’s from 1998 on and had gone looking around all my local automotive spare parts stores, where they even called Haynes and clarified they don’t publish them. I heard that Subaru itself has workshop manuals and wanted to see how I could get my hands on one and what’s the price I’d expect to pay? I’ve read another user on this forum was told Subaru would only sell to a business, so figure it’s not worth calling them.

Also, I’ve read that the liberty’s are classed as legacy’s outside of Australia, so was wondering whether the Legacy workshop manual 2010-2011 is what I’m after, or did subaru make a liberty 2010 workshop repair manual? Or perhaps a supplemental for liberty’s to go with the legacy version ???

Our cars are known as Legacy outside Australia. Here Subaru changed the name so it didn't upset Legacy Australia (diggers group).

Legacy service manual is fine.
