Hi guys, i'm chasing some recommendations for a dump pipe and and silicone turbo inlet for my 2007 Manual Tuned by STI wagon. so far the only one i've been able to find is the Ultrex one. i currently have the Xforce cat back exhaust.

Thanks for any response.

Pretty sure any GR GH Impreza dump will do, your car being manual...

Try Kobe Motorsport on eBay for silicone, maybe dumps too.

so after some searching ive found these 3 options, would these be suitable?

Xforce - https://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/Xfo ... 14-WRX/STI

Invidia - https://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/dow ... x-sti.html

AVO - https://www.carmodsaustralia.com.au/3-s ... 07-09.html

Thanks for the fast reply

Get the silicone throttle body hose, it’s also essential: Kobe or AVO...

As for dumps, the avo, having a seperate and interchangeable bell mouth, provides the most bolt-on upgrade options.
You’d specify the 6mt version, autos require a little more clearance but indeed both types work for 6mt iirc.

so the AVO one is the way to go, as its a bit cheaper though would the Xforce one fit or am i better off just going with the AVO?

You may get the hankering to go jdm STi twin scroll or vee band turbo at some stage, simple as bolting on a different bell mouth adapter from avo or custom...

Have a read, the avo housing might need a trimming of the splitter for some turbos...

Btw that’s how to search this forum*^^

Always do the research lol.

Ok well keep that tune conservative lol.
Stock turbo will hit 18 or 19psi in certain gears, when tuned to 16.
I’m tuned to 15psi, it’s the sensible limit really, for the stock turbo.

Eg make sure the tuner is doing what you want, not what they want to prove.
On a dyno, they don’t nail it quite as hard as you can on the street, thus sensible limits are a good idea.

An aftermarket uppipe is not usually a major consideration compared to say, aftermarket headers, adm libs do not have catted uppipes as stock.
