Engine swap

Hey guys, have a gen 4 pre-facelift liberty wagon, thinking of doing a project soon when my current ez30 shits itself, thinking of swapping it for a ej20T, just getting some info:
What would I need other than engine, gearbox and wiring loom
Because I currently have a h6 engine in it would the brakes and drive shaft be suitable for stock turbo power?
And the boring stuff would I need a cert? I’m in qld and read that if it’s a factory option and isn’t over 20% more power than current engine I wouldn’t need a cert but also says if I’m turbo charging I need a cert, but would I need it if the engine came turbo from factory ?
Also anyone that has done this before I’d love some tips and tricks that would help me along the way, cheers guys

The people that have done it generally don’t post much info due to it being a 40 hour plus job, preferably with hoist and a complete donor. Having said that the only mention here was h4/h4t.
Generally the driveline and braking should be up to the job as h6/h4t have similar stock power output.
Personally, I’d just turbo an h6, or buy an h4t.

What gearbox is in it now?
5MT, 6MT, or auto?
If it's the 6MT, it's the nicest gearbox Subaru ever made.

the 6 speed is very nice.....except for the continuously failing reverse light switch and its awkward placement, making changing it very difficult

I had one switch fail, it was replaced a couple of years ago when the centre diff was replaced, when it was easy to get at.
The replacement is still going fine.
