This and other info is in your fsm.
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=34980

The pic is blurry but the holes around the perimeter are the inlet mani bolt holes for mounting.

You'll find inlet install how tos online as well.
It's a relatively difficult job first time out.

The white arrows would be pointing to the PCV return, part of the carter emissions system in the FSM...
Sorry that's probably the front of the inlet mani so refer to the vac diagram I linked above. More later...

Blew off before. Came off back of mani up the top. It's a short L shaped hose Any idea what hose is?

Use tiny zip ties on all vac hose ends...

From the same google search I posted previously, theres this diagram which connects all the dots:
http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php ... stcount=15

theres a total of returns to just the inlet pipe

bov return is the largest after the inlet itself
ccv breather return
heads breather return
fuel purge return
boost controller return
https://www.flickr.com/photos/bigbadbenny/8370195850/
bov ref hose iirc as its not listed under this diagram passenger side inlet mani
http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.p ... 43225.html

Then theres the pcv return to inlet mani to the rear and its associated carter ventilation system piping including the heads breathers, heads balance pipe, PCV tee and the PCV iself.

And the hoses from the boost control solenoid to the turbo and wastegate actuator.

And everything is prone to harden and split right where you cant see it.

This is why you may consider:
A: reading the FSM comprehensively to understand the systems and diagnostics.
B: make an inlet pressure smoke or bubble checker to find the issues

Theres a billion cheap ways to do it, from buying a cigar to going a full vape setup.

I would post pic up but its to large, doesn't seem to show this hose in those pics. This hose is on drivers side going from behind the back of mani and goes from behind mani down near w/g its a short L shaped hose deffinately vac then theres another simmilar hose little bit longer that runs along side it and connects next to vac hose, which is a oil line. Here's same pic marked end on white line is we're hose connects.

You mean the hard plastic pipe across the back of the inlet mani?
That's the heads breather tube, or the heads balance pipe iirc...
