Use tiny zip ties on all vac hose ends...
From the same google search I posted previously, theres this diagram which connects all the dots:
http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php ... stcount=15theres a total of returns to just the inlet pipe
bov return is the largest after the inlet itself
ccv breather return
heads breather return
fuel purge return
boost controller return
https://www.flickr.com/photos/bigbadbenny/8370195850/bov ref hose iirc as its not listed under this diagram passenger side inlet mani
http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.p ... 43225.htmlThen theres the pcv return to inlet mani to the rear and its associated carter ventilation system piping including the heads breathers, heads balance pipe, PCV tee and the PCV iself.
And the hoses from the boost control solenoid to the turbo and wastegate actuator.
And everything is prone to harden and split right where you cant see it.
This is why you may consider:
A: reading the FSM comprehensively to understand the systems and diagnostics.
B: make an inlet pressure smoke or bubble checker to find the issues
