Get the "privacy" tint removed and get 18% done.

I have 18% with the factory 2% in the glass, we measured it at 16%.

No it's not legal, but I wouldn't worry too much about being legal as cops rarely defect for this now, because they don't have a light meter, and privacy tint is so dark anyways.

The tint is great during the day, but you can still see at night, unlike some others which are just plain dangerous.

Rob at Hunters Hill Tinting did mine, $220 or so, and awesome job.

Can you get this removed?? I didn't think you could... I thought it was part of the glass colour...

It's got this dark brown colour to it... we tried to match it before but it couldn't be 100%

Hi guys,

Got my Car tinted, a few months ago in ACT. I was asked if the car currently has window tint, so it can be removed before a new film is placed on, but will cost you a little extra for removal.

good luck trying to remove the privacy tint......... its baked into the glass

i have 20% on the front and have had 35% on the rear window, the rear really stands out once you get the fronts done. the match is pretty close

the guy that did my tinting refused to do my sunroof, he has seen them crack when tinted.

Nah, not tinting the sunroof, leaving as is.

Can't book it in for Saturday now, will have to wait for next week.

Got some other goodies being done and the Option guys were pretty booked out already.
