Victorian P-Plater

Hi Everyone,

I'm in the market and wanting to buy a 2007 Liberty GT MY07,

but as I am a p-plater in Victoria it is illegal to drive unless I receive an exemption.

I can take an angle on the exemption and say that the car is classified as a family car as it has child seat brackets and 5 seats, and that it is a lower powered turbo as the power to weight ratio is 127.3KW/Tonne. I can also say that a family friends will give their one to me at a cheaper price (not a lie) but I'm not sure what to say.

Just wondering if any p-platers have gotten an exemption for a 2007 liberty GT, or any recommendations to do for the exemption form.

Cheers,

B4Boy :)

Just drive N/A until you're off your P's. It's not that long of a wait.

I applied for an exemption for my o4 gt and was quickly declined due to being "over powered"
