First time poster, this may have already been covered?

Looking to change my old halogen globes over for LED. The current headlight connector is melted on the drivers side and passenger side is not great condition either. Getting sick of changing blown globes every 5-6 months because of this.

Does anyone have any preference to brand when doing the changeover? Any eBay horror stories? Prices for a kit from eBay are about $50-$70, if I go to supercheap or similar I'm looking at about $150 minimum.

Replace your plugs and get Philips Racing Vision or Osram Laser.

The heat sink on the back of the led's is large and you will need to cut the back cap seal to fit it. Or you can get opt7 55watt hid lights and only have to a small hole in the dust cap like I did, they work great

get the 5000k for the best distance, the higher the number the less the distance & the colour will change.

Just go HIDs, LED installs require a painful amount of space
