New office - new roads...

Postby Tonic » Wed Apr 12, 2017 8:38 pm

Having relocated from Coffs back closer to the Tweed I am now working the area from Yelgun to Byron and west to Repentence Creek and upper Wilsons Creek.

So new roads to learn and some absolute crackers to run on.

Of course the Coolamon Scenic Drive, Gulgan Way and Bangalow Road are good driver roads but there is too much attention and traffic to push too hard. But Corndale Road, upper Wilsons Creek Road, Federal Dr/ Eureka Road, Rosebank Road, Goonengerry Road and Repentence Creek roads are generally of good surface and allow you to keep to the speed limit while you can drive in deep (deeper if vision allows) and push hard out the other side with low risk. And then there are the back roads running off these....Watson Road, Wanganui Road, Mafecking (which I feel must be an abbreviation of My Fcking Road), Crabbes Creek Road ... ahh the list goes on. These are roads where the surface quality falls and the bends increase..... just perfect for the 3RB to work 2nd to 4th gears over.

Oh and the views are spectacular.
