Tyre sizing help!

Postby FishJr » Mon Jan 09, 2017 2:35 pm

Got a pair of BBS REPS 18x9.5+38. Putting them on my 2006 Subaru liberty, stock height (later putting coils on,and rolling guards due to aggressive offset). Just curious for tyres. I'm ideally going a 235/40/18 and I am worried they will scrub? No scrub should happen should it especially that I'm later rolling guards etc. I wanted a 235/35 but they don't exist apparently (which is probably true, I'm a bit clueless with tyres). What does every one think?

I have RE003's in 235/35/19.

Hmm, maybe they don't in 18's. Maybe call Bridgestone? You won't scrub until you drop it, but when you do it will be close even after you pump the guards a little.

Yeah thats wicked thanks! Just curious how much lower they both got. you get me? I just worried that it wont go that much lower after purchasing coils and waste money. But Aye if she looks clean that all that matters

Why stop at 225? It's only a 9.5" wide wheel
