its a small scuff.... that will roll out no problems at all..

some mobile repair guys like dents out can do it on the spot.

Sorry to hear about that, Nigel. Ouch! That's why no one drives the car but me. Even if I lost both legs I would rather burn the car to the ground then to watch a family member desecrate it like that. Perhaps just some touch up paint if there's minor surface damage?

The photo doesn't show it but there's actually two huge gaping chunks taken out, one is as large as my index finger and i can actually sit my finger in the hole. I have no idea how rim repair works but i'll take it to a few places to take a look at. [/quote]

If it hasnt taken a chunk off the actual rim itself then it should be ok.

If its just scrapped the paint then they would need to sand it back and repaint the rim/blend it. Not a cheap job either.

I feel your pain mate but would suggest that is certainly repairable. I had a similar incident with one of my rims earlier in the year and had it repaired locally. You will not be able to pick where it was damaged now. Search for rim repairer in your area.

My brother didn't offer to pay, in fact he didn't say anything until i saw it and went berserk. But then he somehow turned it around and with everyone else on his side, went crazy at me for being so "particular" and that it was "eventually going to happen anyways".

on the other side. I understand the pain. Its like when i tell my brother that going sideways over speedbumps are the bestway to keep your front bumpers intact. Whereas he belives that the little black plastic things underneath are their to do the job.
