[Question] - Payment of Fine..

Okay,

So i needed to pay a car fine today, it was the end of my "You got (21) days to make this payment"..

But i missed the post office by 15 mins and im spewing now..
If i pay on monday because its closed on sunday is that okay.. or will the send me letter taking further action because i was late?

I kind of dont have a billpay or credit card to pay online. so im kinda stuck!

P.S

Can i pay at a PostSHOP aswell as a PostOffice.. or post offices only?

Markii why don't you get someone with a credit card to pay for you and you can pay them the cash later? Any credit card can be used to pay the fine on the state debt recovery office website, not just yours.

That's what my work colleague had me do when he didn't want his infringement payment to show up on his records (incurring the wrath of his missus). He paid me cash and I paid the fine for him using my credit card.

If you pay it you should be fine, dont stress.

But if you are scared, give police a call, and they will be able to do a check on your licence and car registration to see if they are active. Because with traffic fines, train ticket fines etc, you dont pay them they suspend your licence, and cancel your car registration

On the notice it says... "further action will be taken if this notice is not resolved in 21 days".. Freaked me out a little, sounds so ergh..

Now i wont have a Licence for 3 months..
Rule NO.1 never rush home late in the morning..

Hate that new p plater law, no matter of the speed you were doing.. its a loss of licence.. I still would have had points left, but hey what can you do!

I can't do nothing but leave them on..
and wash the car every week, then get my mate of mine to take my car for spins with me so it does get used.. <3

Plus it will give me some more moneys because i wont be spending it on petrol and ill use it to pay for my gutter rash on my rim and maybe something else hmm..

does this apply for green p-platers? Cause i only thought that it applied to the reds. I have been believing that i cant lose my license if i stay below 30k's over the limit.

That is correct, the officer was telling me that its a new rule that has been applied to all p platers.
He was nice enough to not suspend my licence on the spot, which was cool enough.

.....But things turned nasty.
Officer: "Step out of the vehicle"
"You should get p-plate holders, im sure you can afford them"...

Even though they were properly displayed, it was just 5-10 cm of the white on the left hand side of plates that were covered under the plate, that really annoyed me.. Why the hell would i be stupid to tuck my plates in so it would not be visible.!?

Also the fact that he threw my licence back at me when he was done with charge.. rather then placing it in my hand when i went to go reach for it.

I guess he just had a bad night, i didn't kiss his ass nor give him attitude, i was aware i was speeding when he asked me,
i gave him a reason when he asked me "it was late and just wanted to get home etc" i also clarified that was no excuse for speeding..

++ I called him sir when i was acknowledging him, he was like "please dont call me sir", im thinking to myself.. i refer to all my elders as sir i thought it was just common courtesy? i was like emm sorry?, must of been a habbit when i was in my study days..

Besides a little over the limit, i got treated like i just did armed robbery.

But hey what can you do, i remember the best officer that pulled me in for a random breath test,
we had the best 5 minute convo about how he wanted to buy a liberty because there such safe cars and he was expecting a new born, He was pretty cool!
