Steering whell

How do a take the silver parts off my steering wheel from a 2009 subaru liberty sprots.

Remove the airbag, remove the wheel from the car - there are screws that hold the silver bits onto the "chassis" of the wheel, you need to unscrew those to release the silver bits.

To remove the airbag, there are torx bolts in the back of the wheel at around 4 and 8 o'clock.

That assumes you mean the silver bits beside the airbag that on some cars have the cruise control and audio controls on them.

Ah, hang - you have a 5Gen. Those instructions are for an MY09 4Gen - not sure if the 5Gen is the same (I suspect very similar though).

My advice would be to learn to spell first. Comms is #1 in project management :)

Then attack the steering wheel mods AFTER reading various how to's or FSM procedure, noting the massive potential to flock sheet up if you disregard the important bits re: clockspring mainly, wheel nut, airbag connections.

You may be able to remove them w/o removing the wheel as suggested a torx set and ratchet driver might be handy.
