Hi everyone

I am just after some advice as I am about to sell my white 2005 Liberty GT MY06.

I have owned it for 3 1/2 years and have done the following modifications, TMS response BOV, K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake and have had it custom tuned by Eric Minehart at Torqued Performance, also has an aftermarket GPS DVD player. The car currently has 130,000 KM on it.

Would it be best to bring everything back to stock and sell it or leave everything as is?

Also what would be a reasonable price I should be asking for, either way.

Car is in NSW.

Thanks in advance

You'll always get more interest if a car is stock. Because most people (mum and dad buyers, or generally anyone that's not an enthusiast) don't want a modified car, and the can of worms that could come with that. Even enthusiasts will often prefer a stock car, so they know it hasn't been messed with and can do the mods that they want (which might be different to what the previous owner has done).

I haven't followed prices enough to say what you should get. But you almost certainly won't get your money back on the mods. At best, you'll find an enthusiast who wants those mods and will pay a few hundred $s for them over the value of a stock car.

If you're not in a hurry to sell, advertise it and see if you get any interest with the car still modified. Yours mods are good quality, so hopefully someone appreciates that. Price it around what other stock cars go for, and you might save yourself the effort of having to unmodify it.
If everyone is turned off by the mods, you can always unmodify it them.

Manual/Auto Wagon/Sedan ?

Manuals generally go for a bit more, as do wagons.

Manual wagon is the best ;)

Generally the price range for a preFL GT is 8-14k depending on all manner of things - your kms are low and I assume the car is in VGC, so should be able to ask a decent price.
