This is the heading in to days Sunday Telegraph motor section in regards to the Trideca
"O"what a bagging this SUV received .I think the last time I saw a bagging this bad was the AU Falcon .The best bit was quote:
Tribeca is the first Subaru to offer a 2000kg braked towing capacity If only it could haul itself. UNDERPOWERED ????
The Tribeca is simply UGLEY I don't think this review will help sales .Then again some people love their Ssanyong"s Stavics

i don't think the tribeca is as bad as what they have said it to be. i saw it at the motor show and thought it looked okay. i would definately buy one if i had the money. at least there will be no mistaking the tribeca to the rest of the four wheel drive boxes. i think that it is quite nice inside and has some good features. i have heard that there is already a waiting list (not sure if this is true or not) so some people must like it. also drive.com gave it a pretty good review apart from the looks but overall they were quite happy with the way it handles and the features it has. subaru definately come out with different designs which aren't everyone's cup of tea but if we all wanted the same cars then there would only need to be one car manufaturer and we would all have the same cars and how boring would that be.

It's OK stuntgirl.

Even Subaru owners and salespeople are allowed to admit that Subaru gets it wrong sometimes.

Tribeca = underpowered and ugly in my book.

And the "upmarket" model at the Sydney motor show with the wire mesh grill was just hideous.

Still when the competition includes visual stunners like the Lexus RX330 then there might still be hope for the Subey.

SORRY... BUT I DONT WANT or need TO ADMIT IT.... when you have driven one... feel free to make a comment on the power.... until then.. you cant believe everything you read... ill admit.. i thought they would be underpowered.... but i have driven one at length... great perfomer.. and heaps of power in it.. and im used to driving quick cars....

and sales of this car also tells me differently

if i had a need for a car this size.. i wouldnt hesitate for a second.

there were 180 allocated to be delivered to customers before the end of this year... these are all sold and accounted for.... and people are waiting into next year for their tribecas to be delivered

last weekend in sydney alone there were 25 sold...

sorry...but go drive one... and actually be in the market for one.. and you will see these things are great!!!!

:D
